SOUTH HAVEN, MI — Frozen fish seemed to be falling from the sky Saturday during the annual Ice Breaker Festival in South Haven.
Dozens of competitors tried their best to throw a frozen non-edible sucker fish the furthest during the event’s “fish fling” event Saturday, Feb. 1.

The winner split the pot of $5 entry fees with this year’s beneficiary for the contest: South Haven’s National Blueberry Festival. The fish fling competition was hosted at South Haven’s Municipal Marina — South.
This was the third year the contest was included as part of Ice Breaker festival events in South Haven.
