MARCO ISLAND, Fla. - Almost a month after hundreds of dead fish were found in Marco Island waters, more have washed up.
Dozens of dead fish were spotted off Lammart Street in between Tulip Court and Plum Court Wednesday morning.

Neighbors in the area said they have been staying inside because the smell is so bad.
Last month on Oct. 9, dead fish were found in the sand on beach access near Maderia Condominium and in the water at Caxambas Park.
High concentrations of red tide were found at Caxambas Pass when the fish were found.
Even earlier in October, dead fish covered the shoreline at Clam Pass Beach and Horizon Way Beach in Naples.
Marco Island's city manager said the city can't clean up the fish.
"As of right now, we're not equipped to do this cleanup, but we're evaluating the extent of the problem and what our options are," Mike McNees said in an email.
