Fish Finder fishing report from Byron Stout: February 7 - NBC2 News

LAKE OKEECHOBEE: Even with a cold front putting the Big O's bass in a bit of a funk, two time Stanley Cup winner Bryan Bickell and Roland Martin Marina Capt. Chad Van Slyke caught nice 4- to 5.5-pound bass every day, over three days that produced a total of 60 fish. Depending on the wind and resulting water clarity, the pros fished from Turner's Cove, at the south end of Observation Shoal, and along northwestern shorelines to Tin House Cove, starting with topwater plugs and swimbaits well back in eelgrass beds, and moving outside to isolated reed patches where pitching Senkos was the ticket. The Shoal south to Uncle Joe's (Mayaca) Cut also has been productive for anglers throwing junebug, black/blue flake, and watermelon red Speed Worms and swim jigs, or flipping the same color Sweet Beaver creature baits on half- to 1-ounce weights.
