SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Lanes on a Little Italy street were blocked after dozens of frozen fish fell out of a delivery truck early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened shortly before 6 a.m. on Grape Street, just before trolley tracks on California Street, authorities said.
10News learned the delivery truck's door somehow slid open, scattering dozens of large tun on the far left lane of Grape Street.
The truck's driver told 10News several people stopped at the scene, picked up some fish and drove off. He estimated about 30 fish were taken.
The spill forced authorities to close at least two lanes for clean up. By 6:20 a.m., the remaining fish were cleared from the roadway.
